Eastward Dressage offers a wide range of services and training programs tailored to meet the needs of athletes and riders.
Nestled at the end of a long tree-lined driveway,
in the rolling countryside of Brewster, New York, Eastward’s  welcoming barn and arena complex offers a safe, comfortable, and convenient environment for you and your horse. Established in 2000, Eastward has been at the forefront of providing our clients with  exemplary training and horse care.  
Experienced committed professionals specializing in  Dressage and Natural Horsemanship customize  training programs and  services for the varied needs of all our athletes.  

Prize-wining gardens are woven throughout the property.

Catherine McWilliams

Catherine is a USDF Bronze and Silver medalist, and has been teaching dressage and competing for over 40 years. She designed and built Eastward from scratch with manager, James Celio.

Lisa Postleb Kaptein
Lisa has many years of experiences in showing, training and teaching in Canada, Germany and the USA. She completed an apprenticeship in Germany earning a Professional Degree in Horsemanship (Bereiter FN), specializing in breaking and training young horses.
Shinto Farm
Dressage for all levels of horse and rider. 
Shinto was established in 2000 by Michelle Dinneen and Trish Helmer to help riders meet and exceed their riding dreams. Trish, a 50 year dressage rider/trainer veteran with a passion and flair for education, will help you advance your riding skills. Michelle, a successful FEI rider and trainer, will keep you and your horse on the correct path for success.
